To continue the approach past the missed approach point, you must be able to clearly identify at least one of the following visual reference for the intended runway ( 10 items ) :
Approach light system
Runway end identifier lights
Visual approach slope indicator
Touchdown zone and markings
Touch down zone light
Runway or runway markings
IMPORTANT NOTE – The required visual references should have been in view for sufficient time for the pilot to have made an assessment of the aircraft position and rate of position change in relation to the desired flight path.
